Apple Watch and CarPlay

One home-control brain, shaped for each companion.

CasaRay keeps the account, provider connections, normalized home state, and safety policy on the paired iPhone. Apple Watch and CarPlay present focused experiences without creating another home-control engine.

Use status and manual controls with CasaRay Free

Apple Watch shows compact home status and selected manual controls through the paired iPhone. CarPlay presents a bounded set of home controls through Apple’s system templates. These everyday companion controls are included with CasaRay Free.

Add experimental Assistant voice with CasaRay Plus

CasaRay Plus adds realtime Assistant voice on Apple Watch and the approved voice-first Assistant experience in CarPlay. Both use the same eligible ChatGPT account, CasaRay permissions, normalized home state, and paired-iPhone runtime as Assistant on the main app. ChatGPT credentials are not copied into a separate Watch or CarPlay service.

Keep CarPlay deliberately focused

CarPlay is not a general smart-home dashboard. It does not expose camera browsing, long device lists, settings, or every CasaRay screen. Voice and manual controls stay within Apple’s templates and CasaRay’s bounded companion configuration so the interface remains appropriate for the car.

Understand availability

Assistant needs CasaRay Plus, a separately eligible ChatGPT account, and a storefront where the underlying OpenAI service is supported. It is unavailable in the mainland China storefront. Manual Apple Watch and CarPlay controls, along with the rest of CasaRay and non-AI Plus features, remain available there.
